Ludomed’s primate jackets with tether integration are designed to support continuous intravenous infusion studies in non-human primates. Built upon our core NHP jacket model, these garments include a securely sewn tether end-plate to facilitate connection to swivel systems and infusion setups.

This model includes sleeves for full-body coverage and is tailored for cynomolgus and rhesus macaques. The tether plate is precisely positioned and reinforced to support long-term wear, ensure stable infusion conditions, and enhance procedural consistency in regulated studies.

Key Applications

  • Chronic intravenous infusion protocols

  • Pharmacokinetics (PK) and toxicokinetics (TK) requiring tethered access.

  • Post-operative studies with central catheter maintenance.

  • Long-term telemetry studies with tether/swivel integration.

  • Safety and restraint during metabolic, behavioral, or neurology research.

Animal Welfare & Refinement

  • Allows safe tether connection without external adhesives or wraps.

  • Minimizes risk of catheter dislodgement or self-injury.

  • Reduces the need for repeated restraint or re-jacketing.

  • Custom-fit to species-specific anatomical needs.
