Ludomed’s non-invasive telemetry jackets for non-human primates are engineered to support the use of advanced telemetry systems in preclinical research. These jackets integrate a water-repellent or meshed fabric pocket designed to hold transmitters for ECG, respiration, and non-invasive blood pressure (NIBP) monitoring, minimizing the risk of device manipulation or removal.

Each model is crafted to accommodate major telemetry systems, such as the DSI JET™ and Emka PACK™, offering compatibility without compromising animal welfare. Designed for both rhesus macaques and cynomolgus monkeys

Key Applications

  • Continuous physiological monitoring during pharmacological or toxicological studies.

  • Wireless data acquisition for ECG, respiratory rate, and NIBP.

  • Long-term housing and monitoring of NHPs with minimal intervention.

  • Studies require stress-free restraint and telemetry in single or group housing setups.

Anatomical & Welfare Considerations

The jacket's tailored fit ensures optimal contact with the animal’s body, allowing sensors to maintain performance while preventing pressure points. Strategic pocket positioning helps reduce irritation, improve freedom of movement, and avoid behavioral interference.
